Wow! Did May fly by for you or did it just for me? Between painting three rooms in my house to wrapping up the spring semester for my university students to beginning to study for my own certification again, May just zoomed on by.
Reading wise, I had a fantastic month. I read SOOOO many good books. I gave out quite a few five stars too. Maybe I was just in one happy mood!

Awards and Superlatives
Awards and superlatives are selected by me and only me. I’m not the Academy Awards nor do I claim to be. These should be taken light and halfheartedly because they are fun….unless you are the actual author. Then, they should totally be taken seriously. Totally.
Favorite Book of the Month: I CANNOT CHOOSE JUST ONE! I had 4 five star reviews this month!
Most Likely To Give A Book Hangover: Hollywood Park by Mikel Jollett
Best Whodunit: The Guest List by Lucy Foley
Best Romance: The Happy Ever After Playlist by Abby Jimenz AND Blow My Fuse by Autumn Jones Lake
Wildest Read In The Wilderness: A Bad Day for Sunshine by Darynda Jones

Upcoming ARC / Book Reviews and Other Fun
The following is a list of books I have read in May but have not reviewed yet. You will see them this summer!
- The New Husband by Daniel Palmer (as part of the #threefriendsbookclub on Instagram)
- Undercover Bromance by Lyssa Kay Adams
#threefriendsbookclub Buddy Read News: June’s book will be The Southern Book Club’s Guide To Slaying Vampires by Grady Hendrix. Join the buddy read fun over on Instagram!
What’s a buddy read? It’s a small discussion with other bookworms on a chosen book. Basically, it’s virtual book club. Ours is really low key and informal, too. We don’t want any pressure!
One more item before I go, most of the books I read / review can be found at my Amazon store front: www.amazon.com/shop/jm_bibliolater. I even added a cookbook list because if you are like me, you are tired of cooking the same things over and over! If you have the budget and are wanting a new book or new cookbook, check it out.

You read so many great books in May! I really enjoyed The Happy Ever After Playlist, and after a slow start I got hooked so much on A Bad Day for Sunshine, can’t wait to read the next book. I also just downloaded the audiobook of The Guest List, and I’m really excited about Hollywood Park, love listening to memoirs. ♥︎
