You Deserve Each Other
By: Sarah Hogle
Naomi Westfield has the perfect fiancé: Nicholas Rose holds doors open for her, remembers her restaurant orders, and comes from the kind of upstanding society family any bride would love to be a part of. They never fight. They’re preparing for their lavish wedding that’s three months away. And she is miserably and utterly sick of him.
Naomi wants out, but there’s a catch: whoever ends the engagement will have to foot the nonrefundable wedding bill. When Naomi discovers that Nicholas, too, has been feigning contentment, the two of them go head-to-head in a battle of pranks, sabotage, and all-out emotional warfare.
But with the countdown looming to the wedding that may or may not come to pass, Naomi finds her resolve slipping. Because now that they have nothing to lose, they’re finally being themselves–and having fun with the last person they expect: each other.
When your nemesis also happens to be your fiancé, happily ever after becomes a lot more complicated in this wickedly funny, lovers-to-enemies-to-lovers romantic comedy debut.

In a time when I really needed a laugh, You Deserve Each Other by Sarah Hogle entered my life. This romantic comedy is fantastically funny. I could not stop laughing. Not only is it an enemies to lovers, it is also a second chance rom-com of sorts.
Naomi is one sassy, snarky character. She is purposely trying to get her fiance, Nick, to end their engagement because she is only like 18% in love with him. Naomi is a hot mess and often ridiculous at times. And yet, I LOVE HER.
Nick, on the other hand, comes across as a snobby, privileged momma’s boy. I initially HATED Nick just like Naomi. But, Sarah Hogle’s phenomenal writing slowly changed my heart when it comes to Nick, just as it does Naomi. I love how well he knows her. I love how he knows he is going to have to go great lengths and even possibly an entirely different course to win Naomi back.
Now…..Naomi and Nick will come across as immature. In reality, it would be a whole lot easier to just talk it out. But……let’s be honest…..if these two did not have a serious of lack communication then there would be no book! Let that sink in for a bit.
With hilarious scenes that include some more eccentric characters and a future Mother In Law from hell, You Deserve Each Other will have you laughing for days.
Recommendation: Read it especially if you are in need of a big cheesy smile.
