If you would have told me at the end of February that the world we lived in would be practicing social distancing, I would have laughed in your face and then told you that’s probably a dystopian novel. Sadly, it is no laughing matter. This is our way of life right now. I hope you are all holding up OK!
Has social distancing caused my reading to ramp up? No. But it hasn’t hurt it either. I am playing catch up on my advanced copies. I also might have requested a few more on Netgalley. But those are such a gamble. I get rejected wayyy more times than I can count.
March’s rating average is a 4.2! My reading month started like a lion and ended like a lamb.

Awards and Superlatives
Awards and superlatives are selected by me and only me. I’m not the Academy Awards nor do I claim to be. These should be taken light and halfheartedly because they are fun….unless you are the actual author. Then, they should totally be taken seriously. Totally.
Favorite Book of the Month: The Girl With The Louding Voice by Abi Dare
New Book Boyfriend: Kickstart My Heart by Autumn Jones Lake
Best Picture in a Drama: The Holdout by Graham Moore
Other Bookish Fun

Most of my posts are book reviews but I do have a few other gems, too!
Did you know you can support your local bookstore with Libro.fm? Libro.fm offers several audiobook packages or ala carte. And they share the proceeds with your bookstore of choice. Want to learn more? Click: How To Listen and Support Your Local Bookstore.
Looking to write some book reviews of your own? Check out my article on the Do’s and Don’ts of Writing A Book Review.
Feel like you are living in a weird alternate universe while social distancing? Me too! So I put together a list of activities to do in order to keep your sanity. You can read it here: Social Distancing Check In: How You Doin’?
In need of more books? As a BOTM affiliate, I always showcase the month’s selections. March was full of some good ones. You can see that post HERE. And in a couple of days, I will be showcasing April’s as well as long as things go as planned.

Upcoming ARC / Book Reviews and Other Fun
The following is a list of books I have read in March but have not reviewed yet. Hopefully, you will see them in April!
- The Sun Down Motel by Simone St James (as part of the #threefriendsbookclub on Instagram)
- House of Earth and Blood (Crescent City #1) by Sarah J Maas
#threefriendsbook club Buddy Read News: April’s book will be Eight Perfect Murder by Peter Swanson. Join the buddy read fun over on Instagram!
What’s a buddy read? It’s a small discussion with other bookworms on a chosen book. Basically, it’s virtual book club. Ours is really low key and informal, too. We don’t want any pressure!
As for the rest of the month, I have a few plans up my sleeve. You will just have to wait and see!
