“Summer has come and passed / The innocent can never last / Wake me up when September end” – Green Day
It’s officially the end of summer….well for me, anyways. The little dude started school a couple of weeks ago. I’m back to working on my certification. It’s a total bummer at the end of summer.
Let’s recap, shall we? August was a fun month. I took some time off blogging (eh, kind of) and went on a beach holiday where I read a lot. And you, my Reader, will get those book reviews in due time. But, let’s take a look at August.
Before we begin, I’m an Amazon affiliate…so if you are interested in purchasing these books, click on the pictures below. If not, it’s cool. No big deal. To read my reviews, click on the title of the book.

Other Bookish Fun
Melissa Foster has announced a new series coming in 2020, The Wickeds.
Today is the last day of the Retelling-A-Thon. All readers including myself are finishing their Classics picks.
Bloggers Wanted! I am working on a new book list to be posted in September. I have a couple of contributors but if you are interested, let me know. It’s easy. It’s fun. And you don’t have to be a book blogger to contribute. Let’s collaborate!
And lastly…I totally have to brag. I HIT 1,000 FOLLOWERS ON INSTAGRAM and I couldn’t be more excited. Thank you to everyone who reads this blog and to everyone who follows me on IG as well. You all make my heart happy.
Coming In September
Let’s see….we got the norm – Book reviews from the Thrillers, Romance, Television (new!) genres, Blog Tours, BOTM reveals and of course, a BOTM YA plug (until they no longer deem me a viable affiliate π). There will even be surprise or two including a blog take over by a surprise author (and not it’s not a romance author).
Want more bookish fun from me? Follow me on Instagram or Twitter. I’m on their almost daily.

It looks like you had a lovely August! Thanks for the post.
