Best of 2019

Best Books of 2019…So Far

Can you believe we hit the halfway mark for 2019 already? Did you know that Christmas is only 171 days away? Have you started shopping? No? Yea, me neither. It’s a little early in my book….

Moving on…

Reading Challenges

Did you set a reading goal this year? I set a very conservative goal of 60 books this year as part of the Goodreads challenge. I know without a doubt that I can read more; however, I have 3 more certifications to go and a lot of time will be focused on studying. I envy those who set their goals way over 100 books…..but at the same time, my reading habits need to be financially met, too.

Goodreads Challenge as of June 30: I’ve read 38 of 60 putting me 8 books ahead of schedule.

Best of 2019 List (So Far)

The following 8 novels have earned a 5 star review from me (January 1 – June 30) in alphabetical order (Because why not in alphabetical order?). Note that these are books read in 2019, not necessarily published in 2019. I have conveniently added their links so you can go forth and purchase and/or read my thoughts on each.

Bookish Closing

I cannot wait to read more this year. I have a couple of book reviews that will be featured in the next few months that will definitely change this list. But that is neither here nor there.

So let me close by saying this – Authors…no matter your book’s rating, I am in such awe of your talents and your ability to meddle with emotions and pull at heartstrings. You make the world a better place.

And as always, if you have a book recommendation or want to talk about any of my picks, feel free to contact me.

**Did not feature on the blog. No idea why because I love anything Lost Kings. I was just new to blogging and didn’t have clue. My apologies, Autumn!
